The legend says that the terrifying “Schlernhexen”, the Schlern Witches live inside this mountain, and at their meetings they cause severe storms and other catastrophes. Today, among other things, the “Schlernhexen-Tour” leads to the places where once the dark creatures have lived. This makes the “Hexenbänke on the Puflatch” (witches’ benches on the Puflatsch) to a popular excursion destination.
