Hintersteiner See: The lake has emerged during the last ice age at an altitude of 882 m. Underground springs fill the lake with crystal clear water. Of course there is a public lido at the lake for summer leisure.

Bärnstattkapelle: Take a short break, hold on your breath for a moment and the visit the chapel. You will certainly find an inner retreat that strengthens body and soul within this Roman Catholic pilgrimage church.

The small chapel was built in 1693. For centuries, the people from near and far found comfort and help in the Bärnstattkapelle. Numerous votive tablets in the church bear testimony.

The Scheffauer: That’s a 2,111 m high mountain within the “Kaisergebirge” (Kaisergebirge mountain range). It forms the western cornerstone of the “Wilder Kaiser” and is one of the most visited summits within the whole area and therefor very popular to climbers. The summit is part of the community area of Scheffau at the Wilder Kaiser, with the border to the municipality of Kufstein running directly at the summit cross.

With its natural and well-groomed toboggan runs, the Wilder Kaiser region is already well-known and popular as a „sledging club“. A total of over 12 kilometers, partly sonw-safe thanks to snowmaking equipment provide great fun the whole family and ensure that the runners are fully in motion. Guests can use the Après SkiBus to take advantage of the variety of slopes of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental and to end the ski day in the best après-ski venues in the region.
