Our transfer Innsbruck Pozza di Fassa takes you to the place with the best view of the „Vajolet towers“.
In the heart of Val di Fassa – the Fassa Valley – is Pozza di Fassa with the German name Potzach. The municipality with its 2,280 inhabitants is located at 1,430 m above sea level in Ladinia within the Italian province of Trento. The village offers an impressive view on the imposing towers of the Vajolet. This is a bizarre rock formation in the centre of the “Rosengartengruppe” in the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The total of six Vajolet towers are known as climbing mountains. Pozza di Fassa is widely known as a place of rest and relaxation and of course also for its sulphur-containing thermal springs.
Already in ancient times the healing and therapeutic effect of the thermal water was known, it is rich in minerals and is composed of sulphur-containing calcium-magnesium-fluoride-sulphate. The source of the springs is 1,320 m above sea-level from the sedimentary rock of the Monzonige mountain at a constant temperature of 9.5 ° Celsius and is the only one in Trentino.
The Terme di Dolomia was opened in 2003. The popular thermal bath in the Dolomites offers a variety of treatments that are used both for rehabilitation and regeneration, as well as for the prevention and maintenance of physical wellbeing.
The healing spa offers:
The curative and soothing effect for body, mind and soul of the thermal bath can ideally contribute to the strengthening of the body’s defences and to the inner well-being.
A modern cable car takes you from the village directly into the magnificent, not overcrowded ski resort at Buffaure.
At 2,050 m, for example, you start your downhill run on the longest slope of the entire valley with more than 6 km. Afterwards you enjoy the wonderful panorama view of the mountain massifs Rosengarten, Latemar and Langkofel.
Skiers and snowboarders take notice: There is also the possibility of a direct connection to the Ciampac ski resort, where 23 km of perfectly groomed slopes wait to be conquered. Of course we offer to transport either your skis or snowboards on our transfer Innsbruck Pozza di Fassa free of charge. If you want to have fun on the slopes in the evenings, then don’t forget that the slopes of the Aloch ski centre are illuminated on two evenings each week.
Cross-country skiers love their tracks on the Ciancoal cross-country ski trail, which is also illuminated at night and offers ideal conditions.
Whether it is a sporting activity or a relaxing holiday in the thermal baths, both will always make you get hungry. Here in Pozza di Fassa, the best restaurants and pizzerias with their Ladin traditions make sure to meet your taste. A very popular Ristorante is the „La Stua de Jan“, the small cosy house with its approximately 35 seats is always well visited and offers traditional gourmets Ladin cuisine as well as steak dishes with international wines at the highest level.
